Meet Dr. Ward

Erin "Kickie" Ward grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She met the love of her life, a Florida boy, in medical school in West Virginia in 2008. While they have made many moves around the country together for various levels of training and job opportunities, they hoped to find a forever home on the SW Florida coast and were able to do just that in 2019.  Prior to this, she worked in private practice in Charleston, SC as well as for OB Hospitalist Group while her husband, Price, completed his NICU fellowship. Price works as a neonatologist at Golisano Children's Hospital and now assists as office manager here as well. Kickie worked for Lee Physician Group ob/gyn from June of 2019 until subsequently making the decision at the start of 2023 to step away from obstetrics and opened up her own independent gyn practice in May of 2023. Prioritizing physical and mental health, time with family, and personalized quality care for patients were all motivating factors in making this lifestyle change.

They have 3 beautiful children and soak up every moment of family time possible. They can usually be found cheering from the soccer sidelines or gymnastics meets, boating, fishing, and enjoying the beaches. Kickie is an avid runner who also enjoys triathlons, reading, music, good food, visiting family and life's quiet moments.
